Job Title

Reports To

Profit Centre HC Head

Role Purpose

Plan, direct and control and strategise HC operational functions and executions to consistently support the Profit Centres and business requirements in achieving organisational goals and objectives, and ensuring compliance and consistency throughout the company.

Key Accountability

  • Drive the implementation to ensure excellent execution of tailored remuneration packages (mix of fixed, variable and incentives) for specific aviation job families, Pilots, Cabin Crew, Engineers, Technicians, Sales, tied to specific business results, that will allow the business to attract, reward and retain successful employees who contribute to sales growth and profitability within the context of a competitive marketplace, union relationships and a dynamic business. Accountable to ensure that a total compensation strategy is in place that will increase new business success.
  • Obtain & analyse insights of the Job market of aviation talents and direction to develop reward strategies, to ensure MAG rewards remain market competitive to attract and retain talent, at the same time cost competitive.
  • Continuously review and ensure the Performance and Reward Policy and Procedure is updated and implemented to reflect and support the business requirements.
  • Deploy effective communication strategies and success metrics relating to rewards and performance management in execution of staff retention strategy.
  • Translate, develop and implement HC strategies, policies and procedures to achieve the short and long term business objectives.
  • Translate, develop, implement & facilitate Talent Management and Development programs to maximize human capital that leads to building the required organization capabilities to support business strategy and goals and addressing the strategic business requirements.
  • Responsible to implement Human Capital strategy and planning that covers Profit Centre manpower requirements and optimisation, effective organisation design, Business Plan and HC policies to support the business strategic objectives and business growth.
  • Formulate overall Profit Centre manpower strategy; provide analysis and direction on HR Business Plan, manpower planning and manage all issues pertaining to manpower planning and strategy.
  • Responsible for improving the Employee Engagement Index across Leadership team and business by conceptualizing and implementing various employee development and engagement initiatives.
  • Developing and delivering the organization's internal communication strategy, planning and calendar of activity, supporting us to increase levels of employee engagement.
  • Plan, direct and control the effectiveness of human capital operations and services to deliver higher productivity.
  • Managing the implementation of human capital strategies, policies and procedures and ensure compliance with the policies and procedures and terms and conditions and to support the achievement of MAG business objectives.

Qualification & Working Experience

  • Field of study in Human Resource Management or related.
  • Working experience of more than 10 years in Human Resource, with less than 5 years in Management Role.
