The Senior Manager – HR Business Partner will play a pivotal role in driving strategic human resource initiatives that align with the organisation’s long‑term business goals. This position partners closely with senior leadership and functional heads to deliver effective people strategies encompassing workforce planning, talent management, employee engagement, and organisational development. The incumbent will act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, ensuring that HR policies and practices support business performance, foster a high‑performance culture, and position the organisation as an employer of choice. The ideal candidate will bring substantial experience in HR business partnering within dynamic and fast-paced environments, strong business acumen, and a deep understanding of Malaysian employment laws and practices.
Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to business leaders and employees on all people‑related matters.
Partner with HODs to identify, anticipate, and address current and future workforce needs, developing effective and sustainable HR solutions.
Formulate, implement, and periodically review HR policies and practices to ensure alignment with business priorities and to reinforce the organisation’s position as an employer of choice.
Lead the annual performance and rewards cycle, including goal setting, performance evaluation, bonus allocation, and salary review processes.
Provide professional advice and resolution on employee relations matters, ensuring fair and compliant practices.
Oversee the preparation and submission of timely and accurate HR reports and analytics for management and relevant stakeholders.
Ensure prompt and efficient handling of employee queries and requests to maintain a high standard of service delivery.
Develop and execute employee engagement strategies by leveraging data and insights from internal surveys and other feedback mechanisms.
Coach and develop managers to strengthen leadership capability and accountability in people management.
Analyse complex people issues and present data‑driven recommendations and solutions to management.
Incorporate insights from multiple stakeholders to design and implement robust HR initiatives.
Uphold and promote the organisation’s code of ethics, values, and standards of professional conduct.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
A minimum of 8 years of progressive HR experience in HR Business Partnering, HR Generalist, or HR Consulting roles, ideally within dynamic and fast-paced multinational or local organisations.
Strong understanding of Malaysian employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
Proven track record in stakeholder management and building effective partnerships with business leaders.
Demonstrated business acumen with the ability to link HR initiatives to strategic business outcomes.
Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-moving and evolving environment.
