• Support the Head of Equities in reviewing and reporting fund performance.

Job description

Responsibilities

Manage assigned equity portfolios to achieve client’s return objectives

Achieve consistent outperformance relative to the portfolio benchmarks as well as relative to industry peers.

Ensure full compliance to all client mandates and portfolio parameters

Ensure strict adherence to ARIM’s Equity Investment Policy & Guidelines and Capital Market Services Act 2007 as well as all relevant regulations.

Continuously develop, implement and monitor appropriate and clear investment strategies for the portfolios.

Actively contribute high-quality investment ideas and actionable stock recommendations to the team.

Monitor and act on corporate actions (e.g. rights issues, bonus issues) across portfolio holdings in a timely and efficient manner.

Trade Execution (Dealing)

Execute all equities transactions in an accurate and efficient manner.

Ensure best execution by optimizing pricing and quantity on all trades.

Record all trades accurately and promptly in ARIM’s portfolio management system in accordance with internal compliance and operational procedures.

Research

Provide insights to research team’s stock and sector analysis.

Attend company visits, analyst briefings, conferences to stay informed on relevant market developments.

Review, evaluate, and provide feedback on analyst reports to ensure quality and relevance.

Provide input to the construction of model portfolios.

Mentor junior analysts, contributing to their professional development and enhancing the overall capabilities of the research team.

Marketing & Investment Services

Represent the investment team in client meetings and presentations.

Collaborate in the preparation of investment proposals to clients.

Responsible to assist CIO or any other superior, whenever necessary in product development

Reporting

Support the Head of Equities in reviewing / monitoring / reporting of fund performance of all portfolios under management

Professional Skills
