Job description

Responsibilities

• Undertake credit approval of loan applications.
• Undertake credit risk appraisal, evaluation of loan applications and provide mitigation to identified credit risk for recommendations to higher approving authority.
• Undertake annual review of existing loan accounts and make recommendations to mitigate any new or changing risks.
• Ensure compliance of the Company’s credit policies while maintaining a balanced approach to support growth in quality assets.
• Recommend changes in lending guidelines and credit policy to safeguard Company’s interest while supporting growth in quality assets.
• Drive team members deliver on set targets and planned initiatives.
• Regularly coach team members to help them grow and excel.
• Provide training and guidance to improve quality of credit processing and proficiency levels of credit & marketing personnel.
• Undertake any other credit-related assignments and ad-hoc duties from time to time.
• Undertake portfolio reviews for Chief Executive Officer/ Executive Committee/ Board of Directors.

Requirements

• Recognised degree/professional or equivalent qualification in an accounting or business related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years relevant working experience in equipment financing/banking/finance industry, in a similar capacity.
• Able to work under tight deadlines.
• Possess good analytical and communication skills.
• Must be a solution provider.
• Must be a leader and team player.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
