Job description

Senior Manager - Contract Logistics/SCM, Operations

Overview

1. Set up and oversee warehouse operations activities.
2. Establish customer rapport and improve service levels through progressive meetings focused on service improvement.
3. Resolve service level issues promptly and maintain strong customer relationships.
4. Maintain performance measurements (KPIs) for both customer and internal activities to meet SLA and expectations.
5. Ensure continuous improvement and implement corrective and preventive actions.
6. Ensure Logistics Manager and Shift Manager fulfill their roles and responsibilities as per their job descriptions.
7. Ensure SOP compliance for all internal and external processes.
8. Ensure warehouse staff comply with company policies (safety, quality, etc.).
9. Submit management reports and attend management meetings.
10. Conduct Gemba walks on the warehouse floor to drive continuous improvement.
11. Lead governance, reporting, and review frameworks for a holistic view of operational integration projects.
12. Take on assignments as directed by the General Manager of Logistics.
13. Assist the BD team in identifying opportunities for additional logistics business.
