PwC Malaysia Tax line is seeking a Senior Manager to lead Capital Allowances and incentives work for clients across industries including property, manufacturing, retail and energy. You will manage engagements, supervise juniors, and collaborate with the broader tax practice and external advisors.

You will attend client meetings, sometimes site visits, and contribute to building innovative fixed asset solutions while developing strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience or qualifications in quantity surveying, valuations or construction technology is added advantage.
• Experience of working in a tax environment, preferably in Capital Allowances.
• Excellent working knowledge of tax incentives and experience in preparing Capital Allowances claims.
• Strong project management skills – able to manage several live projects at once and plan own workload.
• Excellent communication skills – the candidate will be the point of contact on the projects they manage.
• Coaching and delegation – coach a growing team of associates supporting the Capital Allowances team.

Responsabilités

• Provide support on capital allowances, reinvestment allowances and other incentives, claim preparation and technical advice.
• Manage a portfolio of clients and project delivery across these.
• Prepare Capital Allowance claims for submission to local tax authorities and assess incentives and grants.
• Manage client engagements and develop strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare responses to local authorities on Capital Allowance claims and grant applications.
• Advise clients and internal stakeholders on tax technical points.
• Supervise juniors and apprise senior stakeholders of progress.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities, including involvement in proposals.
