Job summary

Zurich Insurance seeks an AI Engineering lead to design, develop, and deploy production-ready AI solutions that integrate into enterprise applications and business workflows. You will build scalable AI platforms, reusable components, and intelligent copilots to boost efficiency and customer experience.

The role requires hands-on experience with LLMs, LangGraph, RAG architectures, and multi-agent systems, plus deployment on Microsoft Azure.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in AI engineering or 5+ years in software/ML engineering.
• Strong Python programming and software craftsmanship.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying LLM-based applications.
• Experience with AI orchestration and agent frameworks such as LangGraph.
• Experience designing and deploying RAG architecture, vector databases, multi-agent systems
• Experience with developing on Microsoft Azure

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI solutions that integrate into enterprise apps and workflows.
• Build scalable AI platforms and reusable components for multiple business functions.
• Develop intelligent copilots, conversational assistants, and autonomous agent systems.
• Establish best practices for AI engineering, MLOps, governance, and responsible AI.
• Design AI-powered apps, APIs, and services using modern software practices.
• Deploy generative AI and agentic AI solutions for business and customer use cases.
• Create autonomous agent systems capable of planning, reasoning, and workflow automation.
• Implement multi-agent architectures for complex processes with specialized agents.
• Integrate AI systems with enterprise tools, APIs, databases, and apps.
• Develop evaluation and guardrail mechanisms for reliability, safety, and compliance.
• Optimize model latency, token usage, infrastructure, and costs.
• Ensure compliance with governance, security, and privacy requirements
