Senior Maintenance Technician (Electrical)
Responsibilities
- Maintain inventory controls for cost effective operations
- Responsible for the completion of all maintenance service requests as assigned
- Assure safety standards are used which comply with all company guideline
- Responsible for the safe maintenance, repair and replacement of plant equipment and systems, to ensure maximum productivity and quality
- To carry out preventive maintenance on schedules without failure and SOT
- To ensure 5S of work area is maintained at all time
- To update and record on spare parts requisition database
- Analyse and identify machineries problems through daily routine checking and preventative maintenance record inclusive in finding best possible solution
- Responsible following up for all countermeasures and troubleshooting activities and being well documented and kept accordingly
- Provide constructive solution or suggestion in analyzing root cause of downtime from reoccurring
- Responsible for following up on mechanical/electrical maintenance work requested by relevant departments after approval by immediate superior
- Responsible to report/record on downtime occurrences, and downtime root cause and its countermeasures (if any)
- Responsible to ensure completed mechanical/electrical works or tasks have been conducted effectively and efficiently optimum maintenance cost and safely according to safety regulation
- Ensure all mechanical/electrical equipment or tools are always being safeguarded in good order and condition
- Provide adequate and reliable technical information or support to relevant departments or immediate superior
- Responsible in maintaining quality of products by maintaining higher capabilities and reliabilities of machineries
- Adhere and actively participate in occupational Safety, Health and Environmental policies, Energy policies procedures and activities such as I-See I-Act, GPI, low carbon initiative etc.
- Adhere and comply with Business Ethics, Anti-Corruption, Flight Safety Management System, and others relevant policies, procedures and activities.
- Perform other related duties as required
Qualifications
- High school diploma / degree in any related fields
- Minimum five years manufacturing experience
- Electrical aptitude and ability to effectively learn and use technical information
- Ability to effectively analyze information and identify root causes to troubleshoot and solve problems
- Experience in PLC handling, Pneumatics, Hydraulic, Welding, Pumps, Motors, Sensors, Rotary Equipment alignment ..etc would be advantage
- Physically fit and able to work and communicate with all level
- Able to work in open environment
- Able to provide technical support at all time
- Can work long hours and out of office hours to support sister company
