Job summary

Job description
Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure all maintenance and statutory activities are carried out safely, compliantly, and within required timelines
  • Manage preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance work to agreed quality and efficiency standards
  • Oversee work preparation processes, including tagging systems and readiness of critical emergency materials
  • Lead and develop the maintenance technician team, covering performance management, skills development, and certification control
  • Coordinate effective communication and handovers between maintenance, operations, and planning functions
  • Review and improve preventive maintenance routines, including inspection, lubrication, and overhaul activities
  • Apply structured workplace organization and visual controls to support efficient fault identification and resolution
  • Drive root cause analysis activities and support the rollout of autonomous maintenance practices
  • Ensure accurate maintenance reporting, job closure, and data integrity within the CMMS
  • Monitor maintenance KPIs such as MTTR and productivity, using insights to drive continuous improvement
Key Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in maintenance planning and execution within an industrial environment
  • At least 5 years in a supervisory or leadership role managing maintenance teams
  • Strong practical knowledge of TPM and autonomous maintenance concepts
  • Familiarity with organizing planned maintenance activities and work preparation functions
  • Safety-focused, results-driven, and comfortable working cross-functionally
  • Effective communicator with strong analytical and organizational skills
