A leading logistics company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage inbound and outbound logistics for FPSO modules. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a shipyard environment and good knowledge of operational workflows and customs procedures. This position offers opportunities to support logistics planning and documentation for important marine projects.

Coordinate the inbound and outbound logistics of materials, equipment, and tools for FPSO modules.

Ensure timely delivery of all project-related materials to meet the fabrication schedule.

Liaise with procurement and vendors for tracking material readiness and shipping.

Shipping & Transportation

Plan and coordinate land and sea transportation, including barge movements and container logistics.

Arrange customs clearance, documentation, and compliance with Indonesian import/export regulations.

Monitor and track shipments, escalating any delays or issues to relevant stakeholders.

Interface Management

Act as the logistics focal point between the Batam yard, main office, vendors, and freight forwarders.

Support coordination with module fabrication teams, construction, and commissioning teams.

Documentation & Reporting

Ensure proper documentation of all logistics activities including packing lists, delivery notes, shipping documents, and customs records.

Prepare regular logistics reports and dashboards for management review.

Maintain records in line with project and company documentation control procedures.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in a shipyard environment, ideally supporting offshore or marine fabrication projects (e.g., FPSO & Jack-up rigs).

Good knowledge of shipyard operational workflows, including module movements and heavy lift coordination.

Familiarity with Batam yard logistics and Indonesian customs procedures.
