A logistics company in Malaysia is seeking a Senior Logistics Executive to manage stock ordering, inventory planning, and supplier negotiation. The ideal candidate should have a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in supply chain & logistics, along with a minimum of 2 years experience. Proficiency in English and Chinese is necessary for liaising with suppliers. Excellent communication skills and a problem-solving mindset are required.
Manage stock ordering of materials from inventory planning, sourcing, supplier negotiation, stock management, etc.
Responsible for stock management and inventory planning of stock items.
Handling of stock defectives, shortages & oversupply cases from customers.
Performance necessary documentation for departmental handlings.
Assist customer service in responding to customers for stock readiness and status.
Participate in departmental annual planning, presentation, budgeting, and manuals.
Assist in the management of departmental staff KPI performance.
Ensure that departmental goals are met.
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain & logistic management,or any related field.
Minimum 2 years experience in related field (sourcing, procurement, negotiation and/or warehousing)
Language requirements: English and Chinese as this incumbent to liaison with suppliers from China.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
