• Strategic legal advisory, serve as the primary legal advisor to all major operational and technical departments (e.g., Technology, Strategy, HR, Sales).
• Drive the drafting and negotiation of complex agreements, actively evaluating and minimising legal risks to protect the company's interests.
• Proactively monitor legal changes in the telecommunications sector and translate new laws into actionable guidance for the business.
• Lead the company’s response to all external disputes, litigation, and arbitration matters, coordinating external counsel performance.
• Ensure strict compliance with both external laws and internal policies, conducting legal training to embed best practices across business units.
• Support senior management on special projects and strategic initiatives, ensuring legal decisions align with the broader corporate group's direction.

about the requirement

• Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and be an admitted Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya.
• Requires a minimum of 8 years of PQE, experience in the technology or telecommunications sector being highly beneficial.
• Possess strong strategic thinking, legal foresight, and advanced skills in drafting, research, and analysis.
• Highly independent, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced setting, demonstrating excellent time management and a strong sense of ownership.
