Job summary

City University Malaysia invites applications for a lectureship in Sport Studies. The role involves delivering lectures, tutorials, practical sessions, and assessments across related disciplines, while actively contributing to curriculum development and quality assurance.

The candidate will supervise undergraduate and postgraduate research, conduct publishable research, engage in accreditation activities, and build industry collaborations.

Qualifications

• PhD in Sport Studies, Sports Science, Sports Management, Physical Education, Exercise Science, or a related discipline from a recognised university.
• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of teaching and/or industry experience in higher education or the sports industry.
• Demonstrated record of research publications, scholarly activities, and supervision of students.
• Experience in curriculum development, programme accreditation, and Outcome-Based Education (OBE) is an added advantage.
• Experience in securing research grants and engaging with industry partners will be an added advantage.
