Qualifications

• Deliver undergraduate courses in Quantity Surveying and Construction Management with modern, industry-aligned pedagogy.
• Instruct in key areas including cost planning, measurements, contracts and professional practice.
• Embed modern digital measurement tools, BIM, and construction tech into coursework.
• Produce peer-reviewed publications and secure research funding; mentor students.
• Collaborate with professional bodies, consultancies, and contractors for placements and joint projects.
• Contribute to course accreditation, departmental committees, and student advising.

Responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate courses in Quantity Surveying and Construction Management using modern, industry-aligned pedagogy.
• Instruct in cost planning, measurements, contracts, and professional practice.
• Embed BIM and construction tech into coursework.
• Publish research and secure grants; supervise student research.
• Engage with industry for student placements and collaborative projects.
• Support course accreditation and departmental governance.
