Senior Learning & Development is responsible for leading and managing the people capability development strategy of Gimme4Fingers Malaysia. This role plays a key part in driving brand service consistency, and business growth through structured learning programs, effective onboarding, and continuous improvement of SOPs, hospitality, service & product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be role model and lead by example as trainer by complying to company standards (SOP) to operations team to protect brand and company’s image.
- Present a positive position and attitude to provide leadership to staff to attain desired results.
- Monitor and track training effectiveness using pre and post training evaluations, feedback surveys and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with HR team members and other departments stakeholder to align training objectives.
- Provide strong leadership & guidance to team members , set clear goals and monitor team performance.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team culture by encouraging open communication , innovation and knowledge sharing.
- Plan and deliver hands on training sessions to Restaurant Manager, Assistant Restaurant Manager, Supervisor and Crew on focusing sales strategies, customer service and engagement and product knowledge.
- Develop and create engaging training materials such as presentations, workbooks, e-learning modules and hands on exercises.
- Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) to identify the skills, knowledge, and competencies required across different roles and levels.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify and prioritize training needs based on organizational goals and employee performance reviews.
- Prepare and submit training grant applications, levy utilization reports, and claims within stipulated timelines.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Hospitality Management, Business, or related discipline.
- At least 5 years of L&D or training experience, preferably in F&B or hospitality industry in fast faced environment.
- Proven experience designing and delivering training with familiar with digital learning tools and performance tracking.
- Excellent time management and multitasking ability.
- Willing to travel occasionally for training at restaurants.
