Senior Learning and Development Executive
Training Needs Analysis (TNA):
- Conduct TNA and compile the outcome to identify training requirements across the departments.
- Collaborate with department heads and managers to understand specific training needs and objectives.
Training Program Development:
- Design and develop engaging and effective training programs, including induction, on-the-job training (OJT), workshops, seminars, and e-learning modules (if any).
- Create and maintain training materials, including manuals, handouts, and presentations.
Training Program Management:
- Oversee the execution of training programs, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget, including strive to utilise HRDCorp levy for all training programs.
- Manage training schedules, arrangements, and resources efficiently.
- Liaise with trainers or training providers to ensure any requirements are met including accommodation, equipment requirements, travel etc.
Training Delivery:
- Facilitate training sessions including induction, OJT, workshops, and seminars, ensuring content is delivered clearly and effectively.
- Utilise various training techniques and methodologies to cater to different learning styles.
Evaluation and Improvement:
- Assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, or performance metrics.
- Make recommendations for improvements and updates based on evaluation results.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Partner with management and employees to address training-related issues and provide support.
- Communicate training goals, benefits, and progress to all relevant stakeholders.
Compliance and Best Practices:
- Ensure training programs comply with relevant regulations, standards, and company policies.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in training and development.
Mentoring and Leadership:
- Mentor junior staff and provide guidance on training practices and techniques.
- Lead and motivate a team of trainers and support staff, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Training Records and Reports:
- Responsible to update and maintain accurate training records and reports.
- Always have a good sense for improving training records and the presentation of reports with key training indicators/metrics in place (if needed).
Carry out any other tasks which might be reasonably expected in support of the department.
Requirements:
- STPM/Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certification in training and development (e.g., TTT) is a plus
- Minimum 3 years hands on experience in a training or learning and development role, with a focus on program design, execution, and delivery.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Creative and innovative approach to training and development.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A matured team-player, resourceful, self-motivated with high integrity.
- Self-starter mentality with the ability to take initiative and work independently.
- Proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin.
