Job summary

A leading industrial technology firm in Malaysia seeks a Sales Executive to develop key accounts and achieve sales targets. The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience in IT or industrial automation sales and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities include maintaining client relationships, preparing sales reports, and contributing to sales strategies. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, and proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage. This position may involve travel as needed.

What You Will Do
  • Develop and grow assigned key accounts to achieve the sales targets set by the company.
  • Contribute to the development of sales strategies and identify new business opportunities within the market.
  • Evaluate prospects’ industry positions by conducting research, competitor analysis, and market studies.
  • Participate in pre‑sales activities including presentations, establishing contacts, strengthening client relationships, expanding the customer base, and proposing solutions that best meet clients’ business needs.
  • Prepare and follow up on quotations, manage order coordination, and ensure smooth and timely business transactions for improved customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain strong and professional relationships with clients by providing timely support, insights, and guidance; identifying new opportunities; and recommending improvements to drive profitability and service quality.
  • Prepare accurate sales reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information.
  • Uphold service quality by adhering to and enforcing organizational standards.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
What We Are Looking For
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge or experience in industrial automation (highly preferred).
  • Strong initiative with the confidence to lead customer interactions and discussions.
  • Self‑motivated, results‑driven, and able to perform well under pressure.
  • A strong team player who can also work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong command of English; proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Sales & Marketing, Engineering (Computer/E&E), Computer Science/Information Technology, or related disciplines.
  • At least five (5) years of relevant sales experience in the IT, high‑tech, or industrial automation industry.
  • Willingness to work at the designated location(s) and travel as required by the role.
