Job description

We are global manufacturer of optical inspection, measurement and automated handling equipment.

In line with the business expansion, we are currently seeking a motivated candidate to fill up the vacancy of Senior/Junior Software Engineer.

General Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development, and implementation of software for semiconductor equipment, including control systems, user interfaces, and data processing modules.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in languages such as C# & C++, following best practices and coding standards.
• Collaborate with hardware and mechanical engineers to integrate software with machine components and ensure seamless operation.
• Support the testing and debugging of software systems, identifying and resolving issues to improve functionality and performance.
• Participate in the development of graphical user interfaces (GUIs) for machine operation, monitoring, and diagnostics.
• Document software designs, changes, and test results for future reference and compliance.
• Contribute to the development of software specifications, requirements, and user manuals.
• Support all related manufacturing department on product’s software engineering issues.
• Handle product modification based on customer request.
• Prepare report or documentation on daily activity/project/task.
• Provide advices to related department or staff on all software related issues.
• Propose and improve machine operation functionality and setup method.
• Ensure software designs SOP & documentation comply with ISO standards.
• Other duties assigned by superior from time to time.

Requirements

• At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information System/Electrical & Electronic/Mechatronic/Robotic or equivalent.
• Candidate with Programming experience in Semiconductor/Automation industry is an added advantage.
• Fresh graduates / Junior candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Candidate who likes both software & hardware.
• Preferably candidates with knowledge in Networking, database or vision system.
• Familiar with motion and IO control.
• Good analytical & programming skill.
• Possess own transport and willing to travel local/outstation if necessary.
