Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 5 to 8 years of progressive professional experience in back-end software engineering and enterprise Java development.
• Strong, demonstrable hands‑on professional expertise in Java programming and the Spring Boot framework.
• Comprehensive working knowledge of microservices architecture patterns and distributed systems design.
• Solid practical proficiency in Python scripting for automation, data processing, and backend utility development.
• Deep practical experience in REST API development, integration, JSON/XML processing, and webhooks management.
• Proven familiarity with API security authentication standards, webhooks configuration, and Postman testing suites.
• Practical exposure to AI applications integration and intelligent data processing within backend architectures.
• Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving capabilities under high-pressure enterprise conditions.
• Mandatory legal work eligibility and physical availability as a local Malaysian candidate for full-time on-site operations in Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Design, architect, develop, test, and maintain robust enterprise microservices and backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop robust automation, data parsing, and utility scripts utilizing Python programming.
• Build, secure, and integrate high-performance RESTful APIs and distributed web services.
• Process, parse, and transform complex JSON and XML data payloads across enterprise systems.
• Implement secure API authentication protocols, configure webhooks, and execute advanced endpoint troubleshooting.
• Conduct thorough API endpoint validation, test automation, and debugging utilizing Postman.
• Integrate emerging AI applications and machine learning capabilities into core backend software workflows.
• Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional Agile squads, DevOps engineers, and QA teams during sprint cycles.
