Job summary

Verinon Technology Solutions Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a senior Java engineer with 7+ years of hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, JPA/Hibernate, Kafka and Angular to build scalable backend and web applications.

You will design, implement and deploy RESTful APIs and microservices, optimize SQL (MS SQL/Oracle), participate in code reviews, and collaborate with cross-functional teams across the globe.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Build backend solutions using existent APIs or develop APIs to support business rules with Java+SpringBoot framework.
• Implement validations, data quality checks, troubleshoot, logging, exceptions handling and resolve data related issues.
• Debug and resolve technical issues across the application stack.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Deploy solutions into SIT, UAT and production following deployment procedures.
