A retail fashion company is seeking an IT Hardware Support Specialist to install, configure, and maintain IT hardware across multiple locations. Qualifications

  • 3 years experience in IT hardware support, preferably in retail.
  • Familiarity with CCTV systems and retail hardware is advantageous.
  • Able to travel to retail outlets when required.

Job description

Install, configure, and maintain IT hardware including desktops, laptops, POS systems, printers, servers, and networking devices.

Provide first-level and second-level troubleshooting for hardware issues across retail outlets and head office.

Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential hardware failures.

Manage IT asset inventory (procurement, tagging, tracking, and disposal).

Coordinate with vendors and service providers for warranty claims, repairs, and maintenance contracts.

Support store openings, relocations, and hardware rollouts (POS setup, CCTV, routers, cabling).

Ensure hardware security and compliance with company IT policies.

Provide training or guidance to staff on basic hardware troubleshooting.

Document IT procedures, maintenance schedules, and support logs.

Requirements

Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field.

Minimum 3 years experience in IT hardware support, preferably in the retail industry.

Strong knowledge of POS systems, Windows OS, networking, and basic server administration.

Familiarity with CCTV systems, POS devices, and retail hardware peripherals is an advantage.

Good problem-solving skills with hands‑on technical ability.

Able to travel to retail outlets when required.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.
