Job Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain IT hardware including desktops, laptops, POS systems, printers, servers, and networking devices.
- Provide first-level and second-level troubleshooting for hardware issues across retail outlets and head office.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential hardware failures.
- Manage IT asset inventory (procurement, tagging, tracking, and disposal).
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for warranty claims, repairs, and maintenance contracts.
- Support store openings, relocations, and hardware rollouts (POS setup, CCTV, routers, cabling).
- Ensure hardware security and compliance with company IT policies.
- Provide training or guidance to staff on basic hardware troubleshooting.
- Document IT procedures, maintenance schedules, and support logs.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years experience in IT hardware support, preferably in the retail industry.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems, Windows OS, networking, and basic server administration.
- Familiarity with CCTV systems, POS devices, and retail hardware peripherals is an advantage.
- Good problem‑solving skills with hands‑on technical ability.
- Able to travel to retail outlets when required.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
