A rapidly growing F&B brand in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Head of Information Technology. This role involves leading IT teams, managing infrastructure, and driving digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of management experience in IT and a strong technical background in systems and cybersecurity, particularly within a retail environment.

We are seeking an experienced and hands‑on Head of Information Technology to lead our IT department, overseeing both software and hardware teams. This role will be responsible for shaping and executing the company’s IT strategy, driving digital transformation, and ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our business systems.
The successful candidate will work closely with business leaders across operations, finance, supply chain, and marketing to align technology initiatives with company goals.
Lead and manage the IT software and hardware teams to ensure smooth daily operations and effective technical support across all business locations.
Develop and implement IT strategies and roadmaps to support company growth and digital transformation over the next 18–36 months.
Oversee the development, installation, and maintenance of business applications (HRMS, CRM, ERP, POS, Accounting, and Training Software).
Manage company infrastructure including servers, networks, hardware, and cloud systems.
Strengthen and oversee cybersecurity initiatives to safeguard company data, systems, and networks.
Lead IT projects from planning to execution, including scope, timeline, budgeting, and vendor management.
Coordinate with vendors and service providers for hardware, software, and network solutions.
Establish and enforce IT policies, data security standards, and backup procedures.
Research and recommend new technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
Provide user training and support on system usage and best practices.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of IT management experience, preferably in F&B, retail, or multi-location business environments.
Strong technical knowledge in systems, networking, cybersecurity, database management (MySQL), and cloud services. Familiarity with programming or scripting (e.g., C++, Linux, Laravel) is an added advantage.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
