Senior IT Application Support (Sunway SuperApp)

We are seeking a Senior IT Application Support professional to provide operational support and security governance for enterprise digital platforms across web, mobile, and backend environments. This role focuses on application support, incident management, IT security remediation, SOP enforcement, and ensuring system availability, performance, and compliance.

The role also supports application delivery activities by assisting in system testing, UAT coordination, release preparation, and deployment support. The incumbent will work closely with infrastructure, security, and vendor teams to maintain secure and stable production environments.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 technical support for enterprise web and mobile applications, including backend services and integrations.
• Perform incident troubleshooting, root cause analysis (RCA), and resolution for application and system issues.
• Support remediation of security vulnerabilities identified through audits and security scans.
• Coordinate with infrastructure, security, and vendor teams to implement patches, configuration changes, and remediation actions.
• Ensure compliance with IT security policies, operational SOPs, and governance standards.
• Monitor application readiness, access control, and operational stability across development, UAT, and production environments.
• Support security assessments, validation of remediation activities, and maintenance of technical documentation and evidence.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT operation, infrastructure, application support or business analysis roles, good hands-on exposure to web and mobile applications, APIs, and backend services.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure concepts, application architectures, and system integrations.
• Familiar with incident management, problem management, and change management processes. (ITIL certification will have added advantage)
• Experience working with vendors, infrastructure teams, and security teams to resolve technical issues.
• Exposure to IT security practices including vulnerability management, audits, compliance, and remediation activities.
• Strong technical documentation and reporting skills.
• Added advantage for loyalty and payment industry.
