Job summary

S P Setia Berhad in Setia Alam invites an Internal Auditor to plan and execute audits across financial, operations and business processes in line with group policies. The role requires at least 3 years of internal audit experience, with 1 year in property development/construction; professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, CA, CFE, CIA, MIA, or CISA are an added advantage.

• Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Commerce or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of internal audit experience with at least 1 year in property development/construction.
• Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CA, CFE, CIA, MIA, CISA, or equivalent is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute audit assignments across financial, operational and business processes.
• Perform preliminary surveys, risk analysis and draft audit programs.
• Examine and evaluate internal controls using a risk-based approach.
• Update audit programs when new risks are identified and gather evidence.
• Conduct follow-up audits on agreed action plans.
• Perform ad-hoc audits, special reviews and investigations as required.
• Handle other ad hoc tasks as assigned by supervisor.
