The Job

Develop design concepts and produce contract documents based on client needs.

Prepare bill of quantities for drawings produced.

Job Descriptions

• Prepare technical Interior Design (ID) detailed drawings, fabrication drawings, production drawings, as-built drawings and other related drawings.
• Prepare bill of quantities for drawings produced.
• Overall design coordination for all trades, including architectural, M&E, and ID work.
• Ensure the design process recognizes local legislation, standards and codes of practice, where appropriate.
• Strive to eliminate health and safety risks in the design and financial risks during construction.
• Assist design manager and project team on other duties as and when required.
• Maintain proper record for drawings and information.
• Well coordinate with team to produce presentation materials and drawings.
• Ensure work is produced in a timely, organised, desired quality and professional standard.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a diploma in ID, architecture, engineering, or science related discipline with 3 years working experience in ID, architecture field or furniture manufacturing field; preferably with contractor and manufacturing background.
• Technical proficiency in CAD software is a pre-requisite; must have knowledge in AutoCAD, 3D, SolidWorks, SketchUp, CATIA, DraftSight.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office would be added advantage.
• Site working experience for ID retail and fit-out, experience in interior design and furniture has added advantage.
• Required languages: Mandarin, English, Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin is a must as we need to deal with counterpart from China. Arabic has added advantage.
• Enjoy working on multiple projects, within simultaneous timeline.
• Able to work independently under minimum supervision.
