The candidate should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in the Oil & Gas industry, with at least 7 years serving offshore in gas processing or wellhead platforms. Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
• Possess valid IECEx EX-001, 007 & 008 certifications.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Strong knowledge of IECEx and E&I inspection standards.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspection and verification of electrical and instrumentation installation works.
• Ensure compliance with IECEx, project specifications, and international codes.
• Verify calibration, testing, and loop-checking of instruments and electrical systems.
• Monitor hazardous area equipment installation and ensure proper certification compliance.
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports, NCRs, and corrective action records.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, electrical schematics, and loop diagrams.
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and clients to resolve E&I quality issues.
• Ensure adherence to PETRONAS requirements and safety standards in offshore environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
• At least 7 years of offshore experience in gas processing / wellhead platforms.

• Proficient in reviewing electrical drawings, instrument data sheets, and loop diagrams.
• Strong communication and technical reporting skills.
• Ability to work under offshore conditions and manage inspection activities independently.
