Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute, and monitor detailed solar project plans, budgets, and schedules.

  • Act as primary liaison between clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders.

Senior Project Manager – experience in Infrastructure

Location: Melaka, Malaysia (On-site)

Contract: 2-year fixed term with permanent benefits and contract renewal

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager with strong experience in infrastructure project management, preferably within larges-scale hard infrastructure (railways, roads & bridges, power grid) that is transferrable to renewable energy. This hands‑on role requires managing cross‑functional teams across Electrical, Civil, Construction, and Scheduling disciplines to ensure successful project execution from planning through to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, execute, and monitor detailed solar project plans, budgets, and schedules
  • Lead cross‑functional teams including Electrical, Civil, Construction, and Scheduling disciplines for seamless project delivery
  • Manage project budgets, cost control, and financial forecasting to meet profitability targets
  • Act as primary liaison between clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders, fostering strong relationships
  • Identify and mitigate project risks throughout the project lifecycle
  • Ensure adherence to renewable energy industry standards, safety regulations, and quality benchmarks
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives for enhanced project performance and stakeholder communication
Requirements
  • Minimum 7 years’ proven experience managing large-scale infrastructure projects
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management skills in a fast‑paced project environment
  • Strong proficiency in project planning, execution, risk management, and financial oversight
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage client and team expectations effectively
  • PMP or PRINCE2 certification is advantageous but not mandatory
