Job summary

A leading technology company in Penang is looking for a Senior ICT Software Engineer to evaluate project test solutions, conduct DFT analysis, and provide on-site support. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in engineering, be proficient in debugging, and familiar with BT-Basic programming. Job description

Position: Senior ICT Software Engineer

Job Description

• Evaluate new project test solutions based on the customer-provided Engineering Requirement Specification and equipment configuration.
• Determine the project testing method (Single Board/Panel Board), fixture type (Half Bank/Full Bank), and feasibility of special testing on the current testing platform.
• Conduct DFT analysis and provide testability analysis results and recommendations before Final Gerber Release.
• Develop programs according to customer testing requirements and supply fixture files and special wiring documentation to relevant departments.
• Debug newly developed programs at the customer's site, completing BDG DATA testing, Power Sequence waveform testing, Loop Test, and GRR testing to ensure safety and stability.
• Generate the ICT Test Coverage Report after debugging, enabling customers to analyze test anomalies and improve back‑end test coverage.
• Provide on‑site support: modify and debug programs for products with different configurations based on the Config BOM, analyze test anomalies, and assist customers with DOE tasks.
• Be familiar with BT‑Basic language and proficient in programming test procedures.
• Independently complete complex project development and debugging, including test library development and Analog/Digital/Boundary Scan programming projects.
