Our client, a global data center is looking to hire a Senior HR Manager to be based in Johore.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Business Partnership
- Serve as the trusted advisor to the Site Director and leadership team on all people-related matters.
- Translate business objectives into a cohesive HR strategy that addresses current and future talent needs.
- Analyze HR metrics (turnover, engagement, safety incidents) to identify trends and develop proactive solutions.
- Lead organizational design and change management initiatives related to site expansion, restructuring, or process improvements.
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to develop effective sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill technical roles (e.g., Critical Facility Engineers, Electrical/HVAC Technicians).
- Lead the end-to-end recruitment process for managerial and key site roles, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Proactively manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations as needed.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance work environment in a 24/7 operational setting.
Performance & Talent Management
- Lead the annual performance review cycle, coaching managers on providing constructive feedback and setting clear goals.
- Identify high-potential employees and work with leaders to create tailored development and succession plans.
- Manage the compensation planning process for the site, ensuring internal equity and market competitiveness for technical roles.
HR Compliance & Policy
- Ensure consistent application of company policies, procedures, and practices, with a strong emphasis on safety protocols.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance (e.g., OSHA, FMLA, ADA).
- Manage all site-based workers' compensation claims in partnership with EHS and legal teams.
Qualifications & Experience
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 8+ years of progressive HR experience
