Job summary

A premier hospitality establishment in Pahang is seeking a dedicated HR Manager to oversee HR policies and functions. The candidate will be responsible for recruitment, employee relations, and maintaining a positive work culture. A Diploma or Degree in HR Management or Business Administration with at least 3 years of experience in HR, preferably in the hospitality industry, is required. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Human Resources functions, preferably in the Hospitality Industry.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills at all levels.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of HR policies and practices.

Job description

Established and formalize Company-Wide Human Resources Management and obtains company-wide support for the formulation and administration of these Human Resources Policies, Programs and Procedures.

HR Administration

Ensure functions relating to Employee Movement are undertaken in a timely & effective manner

Ensure that Company-wide HR events are organized and managed effectively through understanding of Event Management protocols, procedures and processes.

Conduct, administer and prepare necessary details for HR meetings with regards to Avillion Berhad corporate image as an regional entity.

Group HR Administration

Develop a Group HR perspective, networks with the regional HR manager and Coordinators and other HR resources in the region in helping to formulate local strategies and carries out regional projects as assigned.

Drive and generate Group Reports as required, but not limited to Headcount Reports, Merit Reviews, Performance management, Manpower planning, Monthly Training Development Update,

Complete documentation for Region to include Employment Requisitions & Exit Interviews.

Manpower Planning

Provide direction on the development of policies and framework on Manpower including guidelines, procedures and templates and justifications.

Fully optimize the utilization of manpower across the organization in terms of transfer, promotion and termination processesp>

Recruitment & Selection

Coordinate requirement at all levels ensuring competence in recruitment and selections, participate in recruitment of all level staff appropriate, advise and support line managers to improve ability to forecast, attract, and integrate new skills in line with business plans;

Relations with relevant social organizations and local labor relation’s environment, employment agent.

Identify and adopt relevant interviewing techniques to effectively obtain desired information and secure cooperation, and to assess suitability of candidates

Coordinate and Supervise: Job applications and maintaining CV’s to include assistance with interviews & inductions; Liaise, process and utilize agencies on recruitment issues; Placing advertisement on the intranet daily and its follow-up; Arranging pre-employment medicals & drugs tests as required.

Employee’s Relation

Maintaining and further developing effective, pro-active HR related policies/procedures and processes in the company.

Participate in designing programs to develop positive employee relations/ communications.

Develop and maintain a friendly working environment and positive culture within the organization.

Plan and devise system to effectively administer Employees Welfare services.

Establish policies that make our client a preferred employee.

Qualification

Diploma/Degree Holder in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related field.

Minimum 3 years of experience in Human Resources functions (preferably in the Hospitality Industry)

Good interpersonal and communication skills at all level.

Comprehensive knowledge on HR policies and practice.

In-depth knowledge of total governmental policy & regulations.

Strong leadership managerial, mentoring and counselling skill.

Responsible, organized and professional in handling confidential information.
