A well-established company in Malaysia is looking for an HR Manager to oversee employee lifecycle processes, manage recruitment, and ensure accurate payroll processing. The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of HR management experience, with strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. This role offers the chance to enhance employee relations and compliance in a dynamic environment.
Manage employee lifecycle processes, including confirmation, transfer, and resignations process.
Oversee and manage the full cycle of the recruitment, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interview coordination, and onboarding.
Perform end-to-end payroll processing to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, etc.).
Handle employee disciplinary matters, grievances, and domestic inquiries in a fair and timely manner.
Prepare and manage related documentation such as warning letters, disciplinary reports, and payroll records.
Liaise with government bodies (e.g., JTK, IR Department) and ensure adherence to labour laws and company policies.
Manage employee data updates, including salary, allowance, deduction, and leave information in the HR system.
Respond to employee queries related to payroll, benefits, and HR policies.
Support employee engagement initiatives such as town halls, dialogue sessions, and feedback programs to promote positive workplace relations.
Review and update HR policies to ensure compliance with statutory and audit requirements. Provide guidance and training to supervisors on handling employee relations and compliance matters.
Work closely with HQ to implement all relevant HR practices within your local entity.
Coordinate and manage HRDC training programs including training grant and claim applications.
Manage group insurance notification for joiners and leavers, renewals, and medical insurance claims.
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Human Resource Management/Administration/Management/Psychology, or equivalent.
At least 5 years of experience in IR/ER or human resources management, with a solid understanding of labor laws and regulations.
At least 3 years of experience in generating the full cycle of Payroll independently.
Experience in handling employee relations is preferable.
Detail and oriented person who is responsible and capable of independently handling complex employee relations issues.
Possess strong command of English & Bahasa Malaysia. Candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin‑speaking staff will have added advantage.
Candidate with short‑notice will have greater advantage and prioritised.
