The candidate is responsible on a daily basis for the full spectrum of HR functions including Compensation & Benefits, Employee Relations, HR Administrative duties, and other HR‑related support services.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare and handle payroll, salary entries, and staff welfare/benefits on a regular basis.
- Implement current HR policies and recommend improvements on a need basis.
- Conduct exit interview analysis monthly.
- Implement Improvement Plans to drive employee engagement and productivity on a yearly basis.
- Manage HR office administration and be hands‑on with daily operations.
- Carry out any ad‑hoc assignments given by Management.
- Monitor attendance for punctuality on a daily basis.
- Review staff attendance and leave on monthly and yearly reviews.
- Prepare weekly analysis reports on persistent absentees (sick leave or other types).
- Consolidate attendance records, leave forms, MC records, and submit weekly, monthly, and yearly reports to the HR Manager in a timely manner.
- Assist in developing monitoring measures for HR staff records in HR2000 (or equivalent) application.
- Update and reconcile leave forms, medical leave, time‑off records, and attendance records with minimal errors.
- Prepare payroll entries including overtime claims, medical claims, IT subsidy claims, and other HR‑related claims.
- Upload all employee personal documentation into the HR shared folder systematically and promptly.
- Draft HR letters and related documentation as needed for general HR administration.
- Assist in school‑related projects/programs/tasks as directed by the HR Manager or Principal.
Job Requirements (Must‑have):
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in HR management, focusing on recruitment, onboarding, payroll, learning and development, staff welfare, and discipline.
- Experience in developing and implementing HR strategies and policies.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with employees, managers, and senior leaders.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Proficient in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Desirable Specification (Added advantage):
- Knowledge in HR2000.
- Experience in an education institute.
