A leading engineering company in Kota Tinggi is seeking a Senior HR Executive to manage regional payroll and HR operations, focusing primarily on Malaysia payroll, with experience supporting Singapore payroll. This senior role requires a solid understanding of Malaysia employment laws and HR compliance, along with 4–7 years of HR experience. The position involves managing payroll processing, compliance with statutory requirements, and supporting HR initiatives across the region.
The Senior HR Executive is responsible for regional payroll and HR operations, with a primary focus on Malaysia payroll and hands‑on experience supporting Singapore payroll. This is a senior individual contributor role, supporting payroll accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence across the region, while gaining exposure to payroll‑related HR transformation initiatives.
Manage and support end‑to‑end monthly payroll processing for Malaysia entities.
Prepare, review, and validate payroll inputs, calculations, payroll summaries, and payment documentation.
Ensure compliance with Malaysia statutory requirements including EPF (KWSP), SOCSO (PERKESO), EIS, PCB, and HRDF.
Coordinate payroll payment files and statutory submissions for internal review and approval.
Maintain accurate payroll documentation and audit‑ready records.
Handle payroll‑related employee queries professionally and confidentially.
Apply working knowledge of Singapore payroll to support payroll data validation and accuracy checks.
Assist with issue resolution and coordination with Singapore stakeholders.
Support general HR operations across Malaysia and Singapore as required, in line with organisational needs and established HR practices. Coordinate and support employee training activities, including basic administration and record‑keeping. Participate in or gain exposure to HR transformation and improvement initiatives, particularly those related to payroll processes, systems, and regional standardisation. Assist with HR reporting, audits, system updates, and ad‑hoc HR projects as required.
Mondays to Saturdays: 8.30 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. (alternate Saturday off), with a one‑hour lunch break.
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
4–7 years of HR experience, with strong hands‑on exposure to Malaysia payroll and income tax reporting.
Solid understanding of Malaysia employment laws and statutory payroll requirements.
Working knowledge or experience with Singapore payroll.
Strong attention to detail, compliance mindset, and ability to work independently in a regional role.
