About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our dynamic team at AGENSI PEKERJAAN STAR GLOBAL SDN. BHD. in Kuala Lumpur. In this full-time role, you will serve as a strategic partner to the business, shaping and driving our organisational people agenda while supporting leaders across multiple functions.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, multicultural environment and is eager to build international HR exposure. The role involves travelling to Europe and other regional hubs 2–3 times per year, with each trip lasting up to one month, to participate in HQ business meetings and collaborate closely with global stakeholders. Flexibility for short-notice travel is essential.

What you'll be doing

• Partnering with business leaders to understand their HR needs and provide tailored HR solutions
• Driving the implementation of HR initiatives, policies, and programmes to enhance employee engagement and organisational effectiveness
• Providing expert HR advice and support on a range of areas, including talent management, performance management, learning and development, and employee relations
• Analysing HR data and metrics to identify trends and recommend improvements
• Collaborating cross-functionally to ensure a cohesive and aligned HR approach across the business
• Championing the company's culture and values, and fostering a positive work environment

What we're looking for

• 8+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner or in a similar strategic HR role, preferably within a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Demonstrated expertise in partnering with business leaders to drive HR initiatives and solutions
• Strong knowledge of HR best practices and the ability to tailor HR programmes to the needs of the business
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships at all levels
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret HR data and metrics to inform decision-making
• Proactive and solutions-oriented approach, with a keen eye for detail
• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field
