Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Project Manager for high-rise construction to lead end-to-end delivery from mobilization to handover and DLP. You will develop master schedules, manage budgets and resources, and coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure works meet specifications, on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field, with 10–15 years in building construction and at least 5 years in a PM

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 10-15 years of relevant experience in building construction.
• 5+ years in a Project Manager role handling high-rise buildings (min. 20 storeys).
• Proven track record delivering high-rise residential/commercial projects.
• Knowledge of construction methods for high-rise structures and MEP coordination.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Familiarity with PAM, PWD, CIDB contract forms.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project management of high-rise construction projects from mobilization to handover and DLP.
• Develop and manage project master schedules, budgets, and resource plans; monitor progress and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee site operations, coordinating with site teams, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure works meet specifications, on time, and within budget.
• Manage the full project team including site agents, engineers, quantity surveyors, and safety personnel.
• Ensure compliance with drawings, specs, contract documents, and authority requirements (CIDB, DOSH).
• Chair and manage project progress meetings, site coordination meetings, and client/consultant liaison meetings.
• Monitor and control project cost, including variation orders, claims, and cash flow forecasting with QS/commercial team.
• Ensure SHE standards on site and enforce CIDB/DOSH compliance.
• Implement and monitor QA/QC systems in line with company and regulatory standards.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies; manage contractual and technical issues.
