A leading manufacturing company in Malaysia is seeking a Senior Health, Safety & Environmental Executive to ensure compliance with safety regulations and manage training programs. Candidates should have a degree in Occupational Safety or related field and 5-7 years of experience in the manufacturing sector. Strong knowledge of Malaysian safety regulations is required. Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in Health, Safety & Environment in manufacturing industry, preferably chemical.
• In-depth knowledge of Malaysian occupational, safety, health and environmental regulations.

SENIOR HEALTH, SAFETY & ENVIRONMENTAL (HSE) EXECUTIVE

Represent CCM Chemicals with external statutory and regulatory agencies such as Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH), Department Of Environment (DOE), Fire and Rescue Department (BOMBA), PDRM, Pasir Gudang City Council (MPPG), SIRIM and others in ensuring conformance to all statutory and standards requirements.

Responsible in ensuring sustenance of SHE, Quality and Halal management system in accordance to international and national requirements namely ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and Halal certification.

Strategize, plan and manage Operational Excellence projects by all departments through various tools such as Lean Six Sigma (LSS) and Quality Tools.

Strategize and formulate program for all staff including the top management to enhance the awareness, leadership and ownership to achieve interdependent SHE culture which aim to be Best-In-Class company.

To formulate, plan and manage Training Need Analysis, Training Matrix and training plan on SHE, OE and Product Stewardship for all employees within CCM Chemicals Division to create and enhance the awareness, knowledge, skill and competency.

Ensuring accurate information reporting to the CCM Group Sustainability Department on HSE and Operational Excellence (OE).

Advise and assist Transport and Distribution Dept on transportation and driver safety program.

Requirement

Green Book Holder. Experience in Process Safety Management

Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, or related field.

5-7 years of experience in Health, Safety & Environment in manufacturing industry. Chemical Industry would be added advantage

Hold competencies in AESP, AGTES, Train the Trainer, Lean Six Sigma is strongly welcomed to apply

In-depth knowledge on related Malaysian occupational, safety, health and environmental and Halal regulations such as FMA, OSHA, Fire Services Act, Poison Act and Regulations, EQA, Trade Description Act and others.
