Job summary

UST Global (M) Sdn Bhd in Penang seeks an experienced Hardware System Architect to lead architecture, design, and validation of complex electronic hardware systems across electrical, PCB, thermal, and verification domains.

You will translate product requirements into robust architectures, drive board-level decisions, oversee cross-functional teams, and ensure production-ready solutions for high-power designs.

Qualifications

• Hardware system architecture expertise across electrical, PCB, mechanical, thermal and verification disciplines.
• Experience with high-current analog design and power delivery architectures.
• Familiarity with multi-layer PCB design, SI/PI, EMI/EMC considerations, and thermal management.

Responsibilities

• Define hardware system architecture, subsystem partitioning, and design strategy.
• Design and review power electronics, high-current analog, measurement, and control circuits.
• Lead PCB architecture and layout reviews, including SI/PI, EMI/EMC, DFM, and DFA considerations.
• Drive thermal design, cooling strategies, and reliability improvements for power-dense systems.
• Support hardware validation, debugging, root-cause analysis, and production issue resolution.
• Collaborate with firmware, software, mechanical, manufacturing, and test teams.
