Job summary

A diversified group listed on Bursa Malaysia is seeking a dedicated Executive / Senior Executive for its Group Legal team. The role involves providing legal advice, minimizing legal risks, and ensuring compliance with laws. Responsibilities include drafting agreements, managing legal documentation, and supporting negotiations. Ideal candidates will have a Law degree and 2–3 years of relevant experience, along with strong analytical skills and proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in private practice and in-house legal department experience.
• Experience with public listed companies in compliance or integrity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice to protect the Group’s interests.
• Stay updated on legal developments relevant to operations.
• Draft and review policies for corporate standards.
• Manage external lawyers’ performance and costs.
