Job summary

A leading global food and beverage company in Malaysia is seeking a GL Specialist responsible for managing all accounting activities, including P&L, balance sheets, and statutory reporting. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, at least 5 years of related experience, and knowledge of IFRS and SAP. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential for collaborating with various business units and ensuring compliance with internal controls.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in finance, preferably in manufacturing or FMCG.
• Knowledge of IFRS and compliance requirements.
• Experience with statutory reporting.

Responsibilities

• Support accounting activities for marketing and sales units.
• Liaise with external service providers for outsourcing.
• Prepare and report P&L and balance sheets according to IFRS.
