Job summary

Tap Go Sdn Bhd is seeking a seasoned Game Designer to shape core gameplay systems, balance progression, and craft feature specifications for mobile titles. You will write clear design docs and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate implementation.

The role requires strong communication, analytical thinking, and a passion for player experience, including Mandarin-language collaboration with development teams. On-site in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in Game Design / Game Planning or a related role.
• Experience in mobile game development is preferred.
• Strong understanding of game systems, gameplay mechanics, progression, and game balancing.
• Able to independently prepare game design documents and communicate requirements clearly to the development team.
• Good understanding of the complete game development process.
• Experience working closely with Unity developers is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Passionate about games with a good understanding of player experience and current game trends.
• Able to communicate effectively in Mandarin due to collaboration with Mandarin-speaking development teams.
