Job summary

A finance and accounting organization in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a candidate to manage fund operations, including daily reconciliations, financial statement preparation, and communications with external fund administrators. Job description

• Carry out tasks relating to fund operations and valuations which include, but not limited to, daily stock positions & cash reconciliation, trade booking & settlement monitoring, conducting fund valuations and handling corporate actions;
• Deal with external fund administrator for monthly valuation, transfer agency and investor relation matters.
• Review accounting record and management account
• Draft financial statements for funds under management and handle queries from auditors;
• Setting up of bank and broker accounts for funds under management as and when necessary;
• Compile fund data for regulatory and tax reporting;
• Prepare fund monthly report for investors; and
• Carry out any other tasks as required by the Head of Operations and Managing Director.
