Senior/Lead Full-stack Software Engineer (React, Node.js) | EdTech | Dayshift

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications, backend services, and APIs (PHP, Laravel/Symfony).
• Work closely with UI/UX, Technology, and Project teams to deliver high‑quality solutions.
• Perform front‑end development (Vue/React, JS/TS, HTML, CSS, SCSS) with seamless backend integration.
• Optimize database performance (MySQL/MariaDB) and ensure data security.
• Manage Git repositories, contribute to CI/CD workflows, and prepare technical documentation.
• Troubleshoot system issues and ensure smooth production operations.
• Lead and mentor the development team.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in PHP 7/8 and major frameworks (Laravel/Symfony).
• Strong database skills (MySQL/MariaDB) with query optimization.
• Experience with RESTful APIs (GraphQL is a plus).
• Familiar with Linux servers, Nginx/Apache, Docker, CI/CD, and cloud platforms (AWS/DigitalOcean/Azure).
• Knowledge of caching (Redis/Memcached), Composer, NPM, and modern development tools.
• Minimum 5 years full‑stack experience + 2 years team lead/senior experience.
• Strong leadership in code review, mentoring, task delegation, and performance evaluation.
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum and project planning.
• CRM experience is mandatory.
• Good communication, strong problem‑solving skills, and high sense of ownership.
• Must be able to work under pressure.
• Based in KL preferred.
• Able to speak and read Chinese and English is an advantage.
