Job summary

Sandisk seeks a Senior Manager, Front End Assembly Equipment Maintenance & Preventive Maintenance to lead the Test & Back-End Equipment Engineering and maintenance teams in our Penang facilities.

You will drive uptime, preventive and predictive maintenance programs, and cost-efficient capital investments, while mentoring engineers and coordinating with cross-functional partners to meet safety, quality, and productivity targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or related engineering field.
• Master's Degree preferred.
• 12-15 years of experience in equipment engineering, maintenance, reliability, or manufacturing operations.
• 5-8 years of leadership experience managing managers, engineers, and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead equipment engineering, maintenance, reliability, and technical support teams to meet performance targets.
• Drive improvements in equipment availability, downtime reduction, and efficiency.
• Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
• Provide technical leadership for equipment upgrades and automation initiatives.
• Monitor factory performance and lead recovery actions for downtime events.
• Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Develop organizational capability through coaching and succession planning.
• Manage budgets and optimize manpower and resources.
