Job summary

A growing food manufacturing company is seeking a Senior Food Tech Research & Development Executive to innovate in nutraceutical product development. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Food Science, at least 3 years of R&D experience, and strong knowledge of functional ingredients. This role involves conducting research, optimizing products, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Proficiency in English, Mandarin, and Malay is essential for communicating with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and development of new food & beverage formulations.

We are a growing food manufacturing company specializing in functional beverages, health supplements, and OEM production. We are committed to delivering innovative and nutritious products to our customers. To support our expansion, we are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented R&D Executive to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research and development of new food & beverage formulations (functional drinks, nutraceuticals, powder mixes).
  • Improve and optimize existing products in terms of taste, nutrition, and shelf life.
  • Conduct sensory evaluation, stability testing, and product validation in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with Production, QA/QC, and Marketing teams to ensure smooth commercialization of new products.
  • Source and evaluate new raw materials, ingredients, and packaging to support innovation.
  • Prepare technical documentation, specifications, and R&D reports.
  • Ensure compliance with Halal, HACCP, GMP, and other regulatory standards.
Requirements
  • Degree in Food Science, Food Technology or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of R&D experience in the food/FMCG industry. (Fresh graduates with strong project experience are encouraged to apply.)
  • Strong knowledge of functional ingredients, formulations, and product development process.
  • Analytical thinking, problem‑solving skills, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Good communication skills in English, Mandarin and Malay. Proficiency in English and Mandarin to effectively communicate with diverse client base and stakeholders.
