Job summary

Maybank Investment Banking Group in Malaysia is seeking an experienced sell-side fixed income research analyst to conduct fundamental credit and relative value analysis on corporate issuers across Malaysia and Singapore. You will generate ideas and write thematic reports on MYR and SGD credits for institutional clients, and assist with market commentaries and client requests.

Qualifications

• Degree in any discipline from a reputable university.
• 5–20 years of work experience in credit research/banks or rating agencies.
• Knowledge of government bond markets, macroeconomics and rate dynamics is a plus.

Requirements

• At least 5-20 years of work experience in buy-side/sell-side credit research, rating agencies or banks. Candidates with more experience and deep market knowledge will have an advantage.
• Knowledge in government bond markets, macroeconomic developments and interest rate dynamics is an advantage.
• Strong work ethics with high level of accountability, integrity and teamwork.
• Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision and deliver under pressures to meet deadlines.
