Job summary

Keysight Technologies in Penang, Bayan Lepas, is seeking an experienced firmware engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality embedded software for general purpose measurement products. You will work with C/C++ across Linux/RTOS environments, participate in Agile sprints, contribute to new features and drivers, and support firmware enhancements.

Requires 5+ years in firmware/embedded software and a degree in CS/Electronics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Electronics or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of firmware or embedded software experience.
• Experience with C/C++ in Linux/RTOS environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain firmware for Keysight general purpose measurement products.
• Develop next-generation technologies, software algorithms, features and low-level drivers.
• Participate in product planning activities including proof of concept, requirements, design, implementation, and unit testing.

Job description

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high quality firmware for Keysight general purpose measurement products using Agile methodologies.
• Focus on the development of next-generation technologies products, software algorithms, new features development and low-level drivers.
• Participate in product planning activities such as proof of concept, requirement definition, design implementation and unit test.
• Support existing product firmware modification & features enhancement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or higher degree in Computer Science/Electronics/Micro-Electronics or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in firmware or embedded software experience.
• Experience and strong in platform/application firmware development using C/C++ in different OS environments (Linux/RTOS etc.).
• High degree of analytical and problem-solving skill, solution oriented with a positive attitude.
• Good documentation skill for technical sharing.
