Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Fire Officer based in Kota Kinabalu. The Senior Fire Officer will lead and oversee fire safety operations, manage fire prevention strategies, coordinate emergency response services, and ensure compliance with fire safety regulations. The role involves conducting risk assessments, planning fire safety training programs, managing fire service teams, and maintaining readiness to respond to all fire and emergency incidents. Regular collaboration with various departments to uphold safety standards is essential.

Qualifications
  • Strong expertise in Fire Prevention and Fire Safety Management
  • Experience in Emergency Services and Fire Service operations
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Fire Safety regulations and compliance standards
  • Proven leadership and decision-making skills during high-pressure situations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Relevant certifications in fire management or emergency services are a plus
  • Prior experience in airport operations or related industries is advantageous
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented and safety-critical environment
