Job summary

EY Malaysia is seeking a Financial Reporting Supervising Associate (1-Year Contract) to lead and coordinate financial accounting, reporting, and compliance within CBS Finance. The role focuses on delivering accurate outputs and supporting governance, with guidance to junior team members.

You will manage month-end and year-end close, prepare balance sheet schedules, perform reconciliations, and collaborate with stakeholders, auditors, and service providers to ensure timely financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• At least four years of relevant experience in financial accounting or reporting.
• Experience with month-end closing, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Experience supporting audits and statutory requirements.
• Ability to manage deliverables with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare and review balance sheet schedules and analyses.
• Review account balances, investigate variances, and resolve issues.
• Support tax, statutory, and audit related activities.
• Guide junior team members and collaborate with stakeholders.
