Job summary

PT Resources Holdings Berhad is seeking a Financial Controller to lead group consolidation, financial reporting, and internal controls. The role reports to the CFO and focuses on accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance across the Group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level accounting/finance with professional qualification preferred (ACCA/CPA).
• Experience in group consolidation and financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of MFRS, intercompany, and budgeting processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual group consolidation and reporting.
• Ensure timely preparation of consolidated financial statements per MFRS.
• Oversee intercompany reconciliations and uniform accounting policies.
• Manage acquisitions, disposals, goodwill and impairment accounting.
• Prepare management accounts and Board reporting packs.
• Lead quarterly results announcements and ensure timely audited statutory disclosures.
• Act as liaison with external auditors and Audit Committee; strengthen internal controls.
• Drive standardisation of finance processes across subsidiaries and enhance reporting timelines.
• Partner with business units to improve profitability and monitor KPIs; manage cash flow and working capital.
